While you wouldn’t guess it from the 115 degree days we are still having in late August here in sunny Arizona, the summer season is winding down and we are ready to get right back in the swing of things! As the summer draws to a close and we move to deliver all of our albums and wedding films to our wonderful clients, I’ll have a bit of time to showcase some of our more memorable nuptials! A great way to beat the heat during the sweltering Arizona summer is to leave town, and Amber & Loren decided to head north for a wonderful Prescott ceremony and reception that was truly one of our summer highlights.
In lieu of spending any extra time doing prep photos, the couple decided that they would do a first look and all of the bridal party photos beforehand, so that following their ceremony they could spend time just concentrating on images with friends and family. Needless to say, we had a blast walking the streets of downtown Prescott and found some cool nooks and crannies before heading to the famous courthouse at the center of town. We managed to attract a fair amount of attention and everyone took things in stride when we were
photobombed disrupted here and there but it was all in good fun.
Following their afternoon photo session we set out for a private residence on the outskirts of town that provided exceptional views and a great atmosphere for the remainder of the day. Myself and my associate photographer Paul Morton reveled in the 70 degree temperatures and were clicking away all through the night. The after-sunset glow behind the mountains made for just the right amount of ambient to balance with our dynamic lighting setup and we made sure to rock things out as everyone danced the night away. Thank you Amber & Loren for allowing us to be a part of your big day!
